I am interested in building additional attachments for my 419 loader.Just wondering if anyone has already done the measuring and planning for the initial mounting plates or if basic mounting plates are available already. To further explain..... at the end of my loader arms, they attach to the bucket with a curved steel bracket up top and a quick pin at the bottom, similar to a tph pin.Once you have an adapter plate made you could add just about anything with a little welding.Any experience with this anyone? If not, I will do the trial and error method and post results later. Thanks for any info. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have built a FEL forklift and a FEL snowplow for my 410 loader. The hooks and pins are available from JDParts for about $30.00 or so much easier than making your own. I just used 2x2 tubing and 2x3 tubing to make a frame, tacked it up on the loader to keep from having to take measurements.

I detailed the snowplow build in this POST .

It is a very nice setup to work with.

Thanks for the tip. I called the local dealer today, since I didn't have a part # he will fax me a picture of what he thinks I need. Once I get a part# Iwill post it.They seem to be very helpful, I ordered a shim kit for my hyd. relief valve also and they faxed a parts breakdown over without even asking,I was pleasantly surprised. When I get to the actual material list for forks,I may get your opinion on thickness etc. based on your experience so far. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Great!
I have the part numbers somewhere around here, if you need me to I will find them JDParts.com for you, that is how I found them.

Please let me know how I can help...
I do not have pics of the forklift (old camera, lost disks...) But can take new ones if you need them.

Don't worry about the part # Iwill get it straight with the dealer tomorrow,I could have called them first in hindsight. I really didn't expect them to be available. Alot of companies will hold on to stuff like that,in order to keep there implement sales up.Anyhow,I will be working on it,lots of possibilities.............. I was going to bend metal or cut some pipe etc,but I think this will make a much cleaner job. Btw, I also work for Verizon, formerly a cable splicer, transfered to a building mechanic about 3 years ago. Nothing like tip n ring huh? What a small world. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

When you get the hook and pin part numbers could you post them? I am thinking about making some quick attach stuff too and the hook and the pin were the few parts that I thought would be a real pain to fabricate.
