What do you think? I'm trying to set my snow blower up to work with my quick hitch and have the same problem as with the Wallenstien chipper/shredder.

I can get the bottom pins to sit in tight but no matter what combinations I use the top pin does not sit down tight in the top hook. There is a gap on the bottom side of it.

Think that is OK or am I going to put stress or accelerated wear on anything?

All my Land Pride implements are quick hitch compatible but the Wallenstien chipper/shredder and the Kubota snow blower do not say they are.

Driveshaft still has enough overlap.

Non-issue as far as I'm concerned, make it so the weight is on the lower pins and leave the gap at the top.

The hook is to stop forward-back motion, not support weight. Construction of implements and hitches is not precise enough for all 3 to support weight.

Hitch specifications are 14.78 to 14.88 hook height

Implement specifications are 14.94 to 15.06 pin height.

OK, thanks a lot everyone. I was getting tired of taking my quick hitch off every fall and every time I need to move my blower. So I bought the cat.2 pins and had to reverse them on my blower and use the top hole instead of the bottom where they originally were.

Now I just have to move the top hook up for the blower and down for my LP implements.

Looks fine to me, as well. The tractor's lower lift arms are designed to take virtually all of the implement's weight. The toplink really doesn't provide any lift at all; just maintains the orientation of the implement relative to the ground plane and lift height.

BTW, I really like the design of the hook adjustment on that Braber QH! It lets the full profile of the hook protrude far enough to avoid interference with the sides of the implement's top bracket.

Yes, it is certainly unique, I like it too.

I had the same issue with the Wally BXM32, but I wasn't worried with it, as it just sits on the ground and doesn't have any pushing/pulling forces on it.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to stress anything with that gap in the top hook.

I think the Land Pride quick hitch has the adjustable top hook like mine too, but the Braber was exactly half the price. And if you've seen pics of all the road I built and maintained so far...it's holding up. I've haven't bent or broke it yet.

Thanks again.
