Ron, so if you double up the reducer bushings it is still sloppy? Also, I didn't know LP made more than one length. Thanks!

Luke, the Operating Manual for the LP QH is on their web site free and it shows all the bushings and part numbers. They do not sell direct so you have to find a LP dealer; most Kubota dealers sell LP implements. There are several lengths. If one works I will order it, if not cut down the longest one. I make sure the bushing covers the full space on the pins. If you get the HF or NT QH they do not come with bushings. My QH is a HF one and I had to modify some to make it work. The bottom pins for the lift arms was 3/4" so had to ream out to 7/8, the upper hook was too short so had to cut off the hook and weld in a 3/4" extension. I still saved a lot of money as I have the capability to do all that stuff. You can get the flex unit for the top connection from LP also, you need that for bush hogs and some other implements you want to be flexible over obstructions. Hope this helps the understanding.

agrisupply has the cheapest bushings. buying enough will justify the shipping. They're like $0.69 to $1.39 instead of $3 (at my TSC anyway). Considering 6 bushings per implement, the savings is notable.

What I like about the LP ones is they are all one piece to lose instead of two, plus they fit just right.

I also have some of the shouldered ones from Northern Tool, but they are expensive.
The 2-sets of bushings seems hokey, but they fit just fine. These things aren't Swiss watches.

So I picked up a LP QH15 today. I already had the Northern Tool bushing here (thanks for the tip about them being on sale. Got bushings on most of the implements' lift pins. But it looks to me like the top link pin needs to be larger than cat1 (3/4")? Cat1 to 2 reduction bushing are also to small. I guess it needs to be cat3 too (1")? Surely there is not suposed to be a ton of slop in the top link hook right?
Ive looked in the manual and find no reference to needing top link bushings. Guess ill see if TSC has any.

Yes, the top link needs bushings too, up to cat-3. In my list, the QTY of 1ea was the top link bushing. TSC or Family Farm and Home (or whatever farm place is by you) will likely have them. $3-ish each (or agrisupply for <$1 each).

If the Cat I QH is truly standard (and not all are) the implement pins (upper and lower) need to be brought up to Cat III diameter. For mine I have the lower pins Cat III sized but I don't worry so much about the upper pin. For some implements, Cat II makes hookup easier. For things like the box blade, I like it all Cat III to take as much slack out of the system as possible.

Don't forget that top link bushings are a different diameter than lower bushings, in the same category. I've made that mistake, reading the label for the category change and not noticing that it was a side bushing placed in a top bushing bin.

Stumbled on a youtube vid agout HF qh and it's top link adapter. poster talked about useing metal water/gas pipe as shims to tighten pins in hitch up. pipe is cheap if you have way to cut and you can control length. worth a look

I purchased most of my bushings from Quality Farm Supply online. Like Agri Supply, their prices were significantly cheaper than the chain stores, although Agri Supply might have them beat. Plus, I was able to get bushings that were the right length or a little longer for each implement that could be cut down to fit. Not all bushings are the same length. All of my bushings, whether lift arm or top link, all fit their individual implement.

It took a little effort to get my implements QH ready, but it has been worth it to me. A QH with a hydraulic top link makes hooking up implements much quicker and easier.

Your LP QH set should have had one upper link and 2 lower hitch "spacer tubes" (that is what LP calls their bushings). The manual you received lists all the tubes available by part #. On their web site you can also down load the parts list free. I keep a set of the longest ones for contingencies.
