Long time reader, recent poster, why do certain threads get closed? Another question is the member rating procedure , silver, gold ?

There are a lot of different reasons why threads get closed. More often than not, a reason is posted. When a reason is not posted, a reading of the thread usually makes the reason obvious.

Thanks for the info, sorry I posted in the wrong spot. Everybody on this forum seems to be informative and a great bunch of folks. Also the advice is not limited to just tractors. Mike what county do you live in Pa?

Holy cow! Inspector 507 and Mike pa you guys post alot! What do you think all that posting equals in tractor hours? I have been reading this forum before I purchased my 4310 back in June 2003, just never bothered to post. Plus I never had connectivity back at my house till recently.I did not want use the company computers for chat, even if own them.


I guess I just came out of the closet and am ok with that I am a " Tractor geek." My friends and family must of already knew they purchase JD clothing ,and ask me how my tractor is doing .Some friends point out if the tractor needs washed or why the tractor is cleaner than the wifes Hummer. I guess selling my Harley to purchase the machine back in 2003 was a hint also.
How many more post do I need to be accepted?
