I have the 300X with the thin bucket tabs.

My dealer sent over two new upgraded quick attach plates.

I have never installed anything with the little grease nob in it. Do the bolts just unscrew from the other side? Anyone have some install advice for me for the new Quick Attach brackets on the JD loaders?

Not exactly sure of your dilema from your explanation, but some pics would help get some answers, until such time as a 300X owner can look at theirs and give it.
I'd think it would be pretty straight forward, but a pic would help.
My own thought would be you are talking about the connector pins. There was a thread a while back about these pins being 'loose' and moving, but that is what they are designed to do. The 'grease zerk' may be the "little grease nob" you are mentioning. Get a wrench on the hex nut (or stud bolt) and turn it out. Then I think you will see how the pin is held in, and how it comes out.
