Those angular braces would certainly strengthen it though... not counting making handy grab handles...

My 1445 is an early 90 model. PT has very data on this machine. It is a 45 hp gas engine with a radiator, and smooth and quite. If you can look at some of my earlier pictures, you can see the engine compartment.

Nice work J.J. I will defiantly take your advice, as I don't have a welder, I will look for a U bolt setup, or a large over size cable clamp style to rig my grab handles with. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I've looked at your pictures -- I was just teasing!

I wish mine had a quieter, water-cooled engine, either gas or especially diesel. But, I wouldn't want to go back to the older manual 3-pt attachment method, though...
