I can push the connectors together and it'll work and then nothing engine start and sometimes not

Could just be some corrosion in the pins and receptacle. I would go get some DeOxit (local car stores have it) and clean them and see if it works better.

My JD F1445 has a similar relay. I have used find s paper or nail buffing type stick and cleaned it up before. Slid it in and out a few times and that worked. I have also seen a safety switch cause this, primarily the parking brake sensor. I was able to push it in and let it pop back out a few times and the issue went away. That happened mainly because I didn't set the parking brake and it pushed the relay in and just kinda hung in.

Well, the crank circuit runs through the PTO and brake switches via the purple wires. Those are what I see the connectors fail on the PTO switch. The B terminal on the key switch as well. That isn't to say that other terminals can't be affected which affect the PTO operation. Deere just uses cheap brass terminals on these and you pretty much need to take a pin tool and slide the connector out to see if they are corroded or broken. Or, even the PTO switch itself is funky.
