Hi can anyone tell me what brand my PTO shaft is and will it adjust.

No, don't know it, but what do you mean by "adjust".

I'd certainly expect it to be telescopic.

Looks like a Neapco, but that's more of a guess, it could also be a Weasler. It's not a metric dimension shaft from any of the European suppliers. If it came from any of several models of New Holland hay equipment, it may well not telescope. Some balers and Haybines use drivelines with the telescoping section in the second shaft, not the first.

More info would be helpful. Certainly you didn't find it growing from a tree branch?

The two-piece shroud certainly suggests that it telescopes. But since there are no slide marks, that further suggests
1) it's not, and won't ever slide
2) it is, but is stuck at the fully compressed length

The only ones I've owned that look to be that short were on a PTO broadcast spreader and on a Yanmar mid-mount mower that was driven by the rear PTO. But both of them had plastic shrouds. Yours look to be metal. That makes me sorta lean toward RickB's response.
