So I have been thinking about a 3pt chipper/shredder for my BX24. I have done some looking around. My 2 part question is 1) I am under the understanding you need to be on the seat for the PTO to engage and run, am I wrong? 2) What would you fine TBN folks recomend as a mached 3pt chipper/shredder for my BX24?

1) Read your owners manual, should be sequence to flip your seat up. 2) Look at the BearCat product line. I am happy with mine. Philip.

Either flip you seat forward or put it up in the backhoe position and your rear pto will run. I had the BX42 Wallenstein on my BX23 and was very happy with it. Very simple design with no belts or idler pulley to wear out.
