The lever may move fine but what about the cable it is connected to or not??
Also maybe an adjustment on cable or internal problem.

everything works great all the way to transmission. Have tried to adjust how much lever swing at xmsn no change. no pto engage no noise or grinding or anything. Thanks again

Then it must be an internal problem and you have two choices.
1. Take to dealer.
2. Get manual and fix yourself if your not mechanically challenged.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I figured internal, not mechanically challenged. Was hoping somebody here had had a similiar problem and could save me 200 bucks for a repair manual.. Or a minimum of that at a dealer. Thanks everyone for you time and help..
