I am considering a PT purchase as I have been lurking on this forum for about a year. I have a series of questions I would like to ask the forum. I will begin with just a couple to start out. I like the price point of the PT 180 so that is my focus at the moment. I really need the use of a mini hoe. This is not an implement that is marketed with the 180. I know that some of you have adapted the mini hoe to your older generation 18hp PTs. My question is, does the mini hoe that is offered for the 422 and 425 fit directly to the quick attach plate (newer generation 180) or does there need to be additional modifications and if so what is involved in making it fit. Additionally how difficult is it to install an additional hydr. circuit.
Thanks in advance for your input/ideas.

I don't know too much about the PT180s, so I'll leave that to the folks that have them. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You would first have to get the correct attachment plate. Then you'd have to install another hydraulic circuit to control the curl function. A search should turn up how to do this. Hope this helps.
