Propane Tank Back Blade Build

Very nice! Did you have any concerns when initially cutting on the tank of explosion/fire etc.? I have an old diesel tank I’d like to convert into two fire pits but have worried about just that.

In my case, I made sure it was empty, aired it out for a week with no valve on it upside down, than filled it with water as I cut it with 4.5" hand grinder. Propane is a lot more volatile than diesel, but I don't know much about it. I googled it a whole lot before I done it. Just be careful, good luck with that project.

Very nice work and craftsmanship on that rear blade build.

Also very nice condition for the 1450 - but the seat suspension is reversed!

I had a 1250 and traded for my 1811 in 1989 - most of the seat suspension the U faces the rear, but I don't know if it makes a difference?
