Have any of you guys ever experienced the following...
Approx. 1-1/2yrs ago developed a problem with my 2005 JD4310. After spraying down the tractor, I literally could not get it to move. I found that if I depressed clutch, left transmission in neutral, and moved the reverser lever from neutral to drive and let out on the clutch, I could hear the hydraulic converter move as if engageing, but as soon as I depressed the clutch again and shifted into a gear, the hydraulic converter would disengage and it would be like I was in neutral (the low-high speed lever was engaged). This went on for a while and finally after things dried out aparently, the unit started to work normally.
About 1yr. ago and repeated calls to the dealer, JD authorized the dealer to replace the wiring harness and all fuses. This corrected the aparent problem temporarily, however after leaving the tractor on my trailor this past weekend during a thunder storm, I went out to unload it and experienced the same problem all over again. Now this tractor is out of warranty and the dealer told me to make sure the battery is disconnected and for me to pull every plug in the system and put some silicone on each connection. HELP!!!
