I bought a used CUT with blade to clear snow with. It came with a very tattered maintenance manual but no maintenance records. To be safe I have replaced all the POL products (oil, fuel, hydraulic oil) greased all the points, drained a flushed the radiator filling with 50% solution.
One item has me stumped. I have been through the manual cover to cover and nothing is said about the dark suckers. I can find nowhere to empty them nor a plug or dipstick to check the dark level so I assume you just replace them when full. Do these things fill up slowly sucking less and less dark which would give me a warning or do they keep sucking right up to 'full' suddenly leaving me out there in the dark?
