I need a wider and smaller in diameter pulley for a '72 Ford Pickup power steering pump. The pulley I have now is a 5-3/4" diameter and takes a small 7/16" belt. I would like to go to 4-1/2 diameter and a 5/8" wide belt. Without going into a lot of detailed explanation I've got a retro fit a case tractor with the ford pump with the press on pulley and have pulley belt width issues. I've searched for offroad type aftermarket. Anyone got a handle on wider pulleys for ford presson type pumps? I need a wider belt to fit the water pump and crankshaft pulleys and make everything turn. bjr

I would think a parts house like NAPA should be able to fix you up. Good luck.

Worst case would be having a machine shop turn one for you.It still should be fairly inexpensive.

I was just in Tractor Supply the other day and noticed they had quite a selection of pulleys over near the electric motors and stuff. Not with the lawn mower parts.
