Power shuttle has no neutral?

1967 Case 580CK.
Power shuttle works forward and reverse, but can't seem to find the neutral position.. so the tractor goes either forward when I push the lever to the front or backwards when push it the other way, but no neutral in the middle.. there should be a neutral, right??

A couple of times I was able to find a lever position where the tractor stopped moving, but the lever slowly moves into reverse from the gravity..

How do I fix this?
Is the issue caused by some worn out spool seals/o-rings in the control valve box?

All shuttle shifts I've been around have a neutral position between fwd. & rev. I'd suggest to thoroughly inspect the control linkage.

I don't know about a 67 C/K, but on my 86 Super E with torque converter drive, the steering column shuttle shift lever is either in fwd or rev. The only neutral is on the 4 spd trans.

Yep, no neutral on our 580L.
