Power shift stuck in 2

My 186 d power shift is stuck in 2. The linkage is not seized up, it wiggles. Any ideas?

The 186 came with a column shift and floor shift, which do you have?

column shift but have removed the top cover and linkage is free.

Not sure what you can see with the top cover removed. Can you see the shift fork to tell if it is ok and able to slide?

Is there even a shift fork in PS? I assumed it was like an A/T where the shift lever moves pistons to open/close various paths for hydraulic fluid. To engage/disengage clutch packs.

So repairing the linkage somewhere before those pistons seems to be the next step.

Has anybody torn into a PowerShift?

And I assume the problem here is in the PowerShift portion of the transmission. The range selector part would be a normal geared transmission with forks etc.

Kinda tough following the diagram. Lot of linkage going on there. Hope it's in linkage for you. Easyier and cheaper.
