If this attachment works as advertised and is built heavy enough to take the punishment of being pulled down my driveway every two weeks I will buy one. Take a look.

I always like to look at the DR stuff, until I get to the PRICE.

Since you already have the tractor, I think that a 3PH type grader / smoother would work at least as well, and probably cheaper.

I see you already have a BB and rear blade. My $.02 says add gage wheels to your BB (search here if you've not seen these) and it will give you more control and likely would work as well as the DR.

If you have the tools, or know someone, they could likely build you something like the DR for well under half of what they want. We're not talking rocket science here. People have dragged railroad iron, ties, logs, and chain link fence to smooth up roads. Personally, my latest favorite (not done it) is to get a section of iron decorative fence, the kind made with 1/2 x 1/2 bar, and use that as a drag. Those 8 ft sections are HEAVY. If you found one or two of them, you'd have drags for life!

DR makes nice equipment, well built but expensive. I have a couple of items. The Power Actuator would make a nice battery driven Top and Tilt for the TPH but it's probably expensive.

I think the short length would eventually cause whoop-de-doo's. It would work great on a flat road for a while. But I think it would eventually create humps and dips if used even a little too aggressively.

There's no substitute for "wheelbase" to average out the humps and dips. That's why graders and land levelers have humongous wheelbases.

But,,, I guess it would work to keep a good flat road dressed up nice.

I use a landscape rake on 1 mile of gravel driveway. I used to use it without a wheel set and you did get a hilly drive but since I installed the wheel set it works pretty good at keeping it level and a rake with wheels is alot cheaper and you can do more with it.
