Posting Question

Since I registered so my email would have a link, sometimes I can't post if I use my normal username. I've tried going to the login page, and back, no go. I end up adding a period after my name, recently was again refused, had to add two periods. (comes up name already in use) What am I doing wrong? Will I soon end posting as del..... del......... del............?

Well, once a username is registered, you cannot post with that name as 'unregistered' any longer. So, to post as 'del' or 'del.' you will need to login and prost as a registered user. Otherwise, just pick a name that is not taken, and don't register it (if you prefer to post as unregistered).

And del, even if you're logged in, when you go to post a message, sometimes you find out you're not logged in anymore and have to log in again, as I just did a few minutes ago, and then I got an error message that I couldn't log in with my name because it was already in use, so I had to try again, and that time I succeeded.

I've noticed that every time I've ever been logged out by the system without my doing it, I've been reading one of the bottom set of forums. Not sure if there's a reason for that or just luck of the draw.
