Harv, I had a Morton building erected this past January and I requested screws over the nails. My thought on this was that should I need to replace a panel it would be so much easier to unscrew a screw vs pulling out a ring shank nail. Do you think I should have stayed with the nails? I know the installers did not like the screws, too much labor. Thanks, Stanley in Md.

Three years ago, I had a polebarn put up in Arkansas by a local company, requested screws which they put in on the top of the ridges and hasn't leaked a drop since. Its a 30X50, floor is plastic under concrete and doesn't sweat. It sometimes gets a little dew on the roof when i really stoke up the wood stove but never enough to drip. Screws won me over.....!
