What are beef goats? Thanks, a goat is the only domestic farm animal I have zero knowledge/experience with. I was going to do beef but I don't have quite enough land to grass pasture a beef. I am thinking about 2 or 3 beef goats though.
I went on their website and built the shed using their 3D program. Price was updated as you built it. The rep was very knowledgeable and actually saved me money by telling me that the snow loads in my area didn't need upgraded posts. Here is the thread I had when my shed was put up last year.

Tractor shed is up.
Tractor shed was put up today. It's 48' wide, with 24' center section and 12' lean to's, and 35' deep. 12' tall in center, 9' tall on sides. They started at 6 am and were finished at 6 pm. I am very satisfied with the result. Now I get to put all of the tractors in the shed and not have to...www.tractorbynet.com
I expect to have to upgrade a few things, like wind and snow load, but in this price range, it is a very attractive structure to me. 30x30 is small for most farms but it would serve me for years and allow me to focus on some other, more important, tasks so I can grow it out. (My first house was only 960 SF. )If you buy these buildings there is a few things to note.
You really want the upcharge to put purlins on the roof so the metal runs up and down and not longitudinal. It leaks if running longitudinal.
The side walls will leak less than the roof if run sideways and for a goat barn it probably isn't a big deal. If its for a shop or something then you do want purlins on the walls for the same reason. This is one reason they appear at first to be really inexpensive but when you start adding options they come up real quick in price to other options.
I don't know where you are at in VA but make sure it will handle the snow load. Many are not built, again another upcharge.
The last thing is really the kicker for animals. They need to have stub walls for the building to set on. If you allow urine and feces to get on the bottom rails/metal it will rust them out pretty quickly. Pole barns deal with this by using wood up 2 feet before switching to metal for animal applications.
