See post #7 for details (use link) on the snow blade. It does have a trip function.
Yanmar uses their own type of quick hitch on the loader attachments?

Correct, I have a 72” Yanmar snow blade for my SA425.

Another snow removal attempt a couple of days ago. Tractor in 4WD with engine at ~2000 rpm, transmission in low and loader in float mode. No strain on the blade or tractor.

Im not sure where you live, but it appears you dont stay below freezing all winter long. Floating the tractor arms when the ground isn't frozen will result in rolling up dirt. With your ground soft and only an inch or two of snow, you might better off backblading the driveway. The plow wont Dig.
