PJ Trailers

my biggest add would be make sure whatever you get has good brakes, some are electric, some are booster, some are hydraulic surge, some are air over hydraulic, i think in your case it will only be electric/brake controller but i do know some are putting larger disk brakes on some trailers now - its one thing to pull its another to stop when you need to.......

I compared PJ and Sure-Trac utility trailers recently and liked both. One thing that PJ has is removable bolt-on sides for handling bulky loads whereas the Sure-Trac had welded on sides. They were both nice trailers but when I buy I’m going with PJ.

I looked over several brands and liked PJ the best, so that's what I bought,

I have a PJ 10 ton 28' and a Load Trail 7 ton dump. I'm happy with both. Load Trail seems to be a little lesser quality than the PJ, but it is still good. I realize these are not applicable to the OP, but just thought I'd post anyway. :cool2:

FYI, I was quoted $6100 delivered for the 20' 10k tiltbed from my "wholesale price" guy. I priced the same thing in a PJ at my local dealer, 30 minutes away (less the two sets of additional D-Rings I asked for from ST) at $4995. I also got a price from Big Tex (two hours away) for the same configuration at $5600-5700 depending on the freight of the current inbound load.

I haven't done anything yet, except drive my tractor the 20 mile round trip to my recent job...

(probably didn't take much if any longer than it would have to load, strap, drive, unload)

I couldn't tell for sure... looks like you are set for anything you need.

Oh is an excellent trailer. I have an 18 foot 7k that hauls my l3400 with loader and backhoe. Still have about a 1000 pounds to spare.
