I still have at least 24” or more sitting on ground, but weather has turned warmer. But weve gotten pretty good snowpack this year, so am happy.

We got almost 10" of heavy wet soggy snow last night and this morning;

As heavy and soggy as it was I thought I'd use the inverted blower on it, thought I had gotten a video clip on my phone while I was blowing snow but all I got was my finger on the lens, one of our motion cams did get a video doesn't show a lot but,

I'm a constant sorrow of snow curse here in NW MT again, no snow since Xmas eve beside one dumping of 4'' of snowman snow that I had to use the blade on.

wet stuff sure sucks…..
i had to clear about 2’ of wet junk out of neighbors driveway, as they did not keep up with it, and it got to where their tractor without chains, and only a plow, could not handle it. I was able to get rid of it with my blower, but was a struggle. It was very wet and nearly 40° when i got the call that their trucks were stuck.

Got another storm coming later today, 8-12" then a brief period of freezing rain. 😖

How do like the box blade for moving snow? Or is it just on there as ballast for the loader?

I only really use it for pushing small piles, and making room behind me to turn around; for that, it works great, so long as the shanks aren't down. I mention that because I forgot to flip them before the first storm, and found out when I went to use the blade lol.

I use the loader with Edge Tamers primarily, but the box blade certainly has it's purpose! If I could I suppose I'd rather have a heavy blade capable of being offset, but that's far in the future.

That's the quality control field inspection vehicle. 😁
I could have used it a couple of days ago when the tractor was in the ditch, on ice and headed up hill. I had to carry buckets of salt sand and shovels on the 4 wheeler about 1800' up the driveway.
