don't have any snow weapons. Might buy a plow just to be the only one in 250 miles with one. You say plow here, no one thinks about a front blade>

Ok.. I think I am almost set. Put chains on earlier today and then picked up the blower and got it off the trailer and attached. Tomorrow, I hook it all up and put the chute on....:licking: I'm a little giddy...

Nothing will stop me now. :)

Hey Roy,
I built my rig based on Northern Maine's design but altered it by moving the plow pivot point back under the Quick Attach plate. By doing that, the plow is 15 inches closer to the tractor. For me, it makes it a much more compact unit. The beauty of this design is that the weight of the FEL arms have no bearing on plowing. The only weight on the ground is the weight of the plow.

I tried that last season with my Challenger, but didn't like it. The plow had no down pressure and was too light to scrape snow off driveways for my liking. It worked, though!

Last year we only had 4" and that was gone by morning. This year I think it should be a good one as that volcano in the spring really cooled things down globally. 2 degrees is the difference between rain and snow here in the winter.
the year before last was one of the main reasons for getting the tractor. the last two pictures was my justification for the tractor. This year BRING IT ON!

What kind of tractor is that???

Up until this year we used shovels, but I think now the tractor will help us...;)

Just got mine out and hooked on yesterday. Pallet forks still on, and chains still in shed, but it'll be a while before I need to get real serious, and may have other things to do before then. Chains are a 20min job, and the bucket it less than 5, so no biggy either way.

I made a light duty bucket extension for the loader. About doubles the capacity of the loader. I usually use the back blade unless we get really heavy snows, then the blower goes on the back to dig out.

JD dealer delivered the new Frontier SB1164 rear blower today. He had to shorten the PTO shaft but no other problems. Runs quietly without vibration. I have more pictures if anyone wants to see them? :)
