as far as my tractor goes... I'm not sure if mine was originally delivered with the larger R4's or not, Dave? I know I wanted the larger R4's and told them I what I wanted to be configured on the tractor, and it was delivered with them.... so I'm not sure if they came from the factory that way or not....

I'd investigate, I know its common practice to just swap wheels out on in stock machines to whatever a customer wants...

what is your tractor getting for Travel Speeds?

Couldnt honestly tell you what she tops out at...Havent had a need to road it anywhere since I got it.

Here are some pics for the Michelins I put on. Really like them so far. All I have really done is seed with them, but they leave such a nice flat footprint on the ground. And with two steel belts in them, they should be very good when I mow brush in the summer.

That is one sweet tractor! Nice tires. Would you recommend to others buying this tractor to do the same upsize on tires? Why or why not.

The original large R-4 are 43X16X20. The Michelin tire of the size is a 400/70R20. That would be the same basic size.

The michelin are much closer to the actual dimensions. They are actually 16inches wide. The Galaxys r not.

If I had it to over again I would put the stock size back on.
The reason is so that I could have put the Michelins on the front.
I like the bigger meats though, but they r overkill
One of those tires can carry that entire tractor and loader and still not be maxed out.

I lost a little top speed I think. It will go about 17 with no load on it.

For reference, the tires I have on now r 425/75R20
