I received Pat's Easy Change in the middle of April this year. Installation went smoothly and quickly. Since I'm not as organized as I could be in my quest to develop food plots for deer at hunting camp, I change implements frequently. Works great. Problem encountered today after spraying RU on 4 newly cleared acres, I noticed that one of the hooks was slightly misaligned with the lower link. When I looked closer, I realized that the 3/4" diameter by 2" long crossbolt that secures the hooks to the lower arms through the hole in the arms had slid about 1/2" to the inside, not catching the outside of the hook bracket. I found an empty hole about 1/8" through that pin where a keeper pin had been. Checked the other side and the keeper pin was missing, but the 3/4" crossbolt was in correct position. I don't have the original directions. I'm not sure whether they were simply cotter pins that worked loose somehow or what. The other ends of the crossbolts have roll pins about 3/16". If I can't get some help, I'll call Pat's tomorrow. But it just goes to show that you have to regularly check your equipment.

Being that I just installed mine - yes, they are just cotter pins you are missing.

Good idea to check things over once in a while!

Much appreciated. Looks to be about 3/16" diameter hole in crossbolt.
