PayPal E-Transfer delays (A WEEK)

I was just shocked to notice what I think is a change in Paypal's service.

I have used e-transfers from a checking account for some time and never had a delay of more than 24hrs. I transfer money other places all the time, and it never takes >24hrs (same day if before 3pm) unless over a weekend or international.

They now have a published table of clearing times for these transactions that indicate A WEEK! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Looks like they are trying to hedge the money to collect a few days' interest on YOUR money.

Anyone else notice this?

Maybe they're looking to use that interest float money to pay for this class action suit in which they are involved.
