Pallet Forks

If your tractor can only lift 4100 lbs why pay for forks (cost, weight to lift/carry reduce lift capacity) that are 50% mroe than that?

Price difference was $38 for the heavier set, so that wasn’t that big of a difference for a heavier fork. I don’t see the weight differences in the actual forks to compare and besides I like the back rack design on these compared to everything else. The rack is high to allow for more support when you tilt the load back and the design has the forks mounted back so that the front side of the forks is flush with the front side of the upper rack which gives a solid support top to bottom for your load. These were the only ones I seen like that.

Plus I like Teds videos!!

But you are right, if 1800lbs was the limit on my front end loader, a few hundred lbs would quickly make a difference!

I got the Titan 42" forks some years ago. Never once had the thought, wish they were longer/bigger. Depends on what you do. I got the short forks to make moving around among our trees and bushes a bit easier.

If using a fork blade to pry or lift with one fork at or near tip , fork quality makes a big difference.
Technically forks are designed for an evenly distributed load across the length. However life throws us challenges so we all use the tools we have as best we can at the time.

You don't say what you plan to do with them. I bought a set of the Titans because they are affordable, and find them very handy. However, for some things such as piling logs the narrow width can be frustrating; balancing a 27 foot tree can be frustrating and time consuming. I also managed to bend the backing plate when I caught a tine under a rock while lifting.

I had 42 inch forks and a 48 in two post bale spike so I went with 60inch adjustable forks and they are the best for me love the reach
