outrigger pads

has anyone made there own outrigger pads for a ck30

I bought mine, but would be happy to take pics and measurements for anyone who wishes to do so. I have the dirt pads, not the rubber faced concrete/asphalt pads on mine.

Here are some that I just made for my Ck30.

These are made from 2 pcs of 2"x3" x3/8" Angle and 2 pcs of 2"x3/8" flatbar.

I took these the other day for another thread, but I'll take some with them up out of the ground so you can see all the detail, maybe tomorrow.

Kiotimiike's are square, and that will work pretty well in dirt. Mine are almost "scalloped" with longer protrusions at the corner, to dig in better.

I JUST TALKED TO MY KIOTI DEALER AND HE WANTS $195.00 FOR RUBBER PADS FOR MY OUTRIGGERS SO I WONT DAMAGE MY CONCRETE OR WHEN I DIG NEAR THE STREET. ANY IDEAS, I JUST THINK THAT TOO MUCH MONEY TO PAY FOR SOMETHING I WONT NEED THAT OFTEN.

I would suggest that the easiest solution is to find some extra thick rubber pads that are considerably larger than the footprint of the stabilizers, and place them under them while you're working on concrete/asphalt. They just need to be a few inches thick so that the feet of the stabilizers don't cut through them.

This is an easy fix, and works pretty well. Perhaps a couple of old rubber welcome mats on each side, or something similar would do.
