Oliver 50 Baler Help!

I just purchased a Oliver 50 Baler which i was told was in good working order, but having some trouble. Im having a hard time finding a operators manual online, and also having trouble with the right twine knotter. It forms knot but doesnt pull it off the tougue. Can anybody help me out?

Years ago we had this problem with an Oliver 50T. The shoulder where the tongue roller rides on the knotter frame had worn off so the tongue wouldn't open. The dealer at that time built up that shoulder with braze and the knotter worked fine for years afterword. Also may want to make sure the wiper arm has the wiper plate rubbing snug against the bottom of the bill hook. If that's not tight, the wiper arm can be modeled (bent) to move the plate tighter. Is the 50T the Same at the 50?

I believe the tongue is opening because when i finally saw it was missing the was 3 or 4 strings in it.

Yes, same model. "T" is for twine tie. Sure sounds like the wiper is not doing it's job. If you have any more details, it might be easier to add some ideas.
