john deere 4450
I have a John Deere 4450 and a 3155. Both have the original hydraulic couplers on the back with the lever you move left or right to hook/unhook the hoses. I have had trouble with these leaking for years. About once a year I replace the seals and o-rings in them but I still spend a fortune on hydraulic oil that ends up on the ground. Does anyone know of a retro-fit coupler that is better? Any other suggestions? Thanks very much.

You may need to replace the whole breakaway coupler. JD part number is RE18834 and they are about $100 apiece. If you go that route i would also replace my hose couplers too.
