thanks -that is a vehicle i miss, although the gentleman that bought it was a retired bus driver /mechanic and had been searching for a 39 international with a dump bed for some time.
His wife was so happy for her husband when they purchased it, that she started crying

They are restoring it and said they will bring it by when it's done,

Hope the one your friend bought creates as many wonderful memories as ours did- the wife and i would get to home depot or other places and meet some great people- although a trip that should have taken an hour usually took two:laughing: the green diamond 6 and the gearing(even with the 2 speed rear axle) didn't help much either.
