Old content/threads/posts. How to find them?

I'm trying to go back and find some old posts/threads I know I posted in.

Every search I've tried doesn't seem to work and I know some of them are still there because I manually found them.

Clicking on any of my profile date (i.e. posts) only comes up with a short list, missing a lot that I've posted over the years (but still showing some very old content).

What am I missing?
