I have a Homier farm pro 2425 4wd, diesel tractor, with only 54 hours on it. My oil pressure guage has always been a little off, but stayed low end of blue. (OK) I was idleing, and it dropped off to low end,(red) with no other change in engine sound. I shut it off. Is there a way to check if it is` the guage, the sending unit, or a oil pump??? I have had trouble with the fuel guage too. Walt

There are probably ways to test the gage and sending unit, but the easiest way is to check or replace it with a mechanical gage. They're not very expensive.

I would check the pressure with a mechanical guage set first. If the oil pressure is good, then check voltage to sender. More than likely you have a bad sender, as guages don't go bad too often. You could skip the pressure check and go right to the sender if you don't have a guage set, but I like to check pressure first.
