Off Road Diesel?

It can't fall in price very quickly or your supplier will be selling to you for less than he gave. And that's not going to happen. There's no motivation for the supplier to move product without profit.

I think the price will more likely be driven by crude oil prices, i.e., "supply" more than "demand".

A bit off topic, but fuel use related. Friend of mine is an OTR owner/operator. He was telling me how hard it is for the drivers to find a place to sit down and eat a meal. Two truck stops he hit yesterday had closed their shower facilities.

So we the consumer expect toilet paper on the shelf. But we don't want to support those who get it there......

That's one of my biggest complaints with all this. No one is really THINKING! US-DOT should be mandating all available resources for transportation remain open and fully operational.

They call that: Paralysis by Analysis; a person talking themselves right out of doing something.

Sometimes, all a person really needs in order to justify something is to ask themselves:
Is it legal. Yes?
Does it hurt anyone. No?
Can I afford it. Yes?
Then, I want to do it, so I'm GOING to do it.
That's all the justification I need.

Has anybody priced Dyed fuel in the last few days? Is it falling enough to stock up?
Had my 300 gal farm tank topped off 3/17/20 for 99 cents (red farm diesel) per gal.87 oct gas was $1.73 gal had that tank topped off also.

The price of fuel still hasn't dropped a bit in Whitman County Washington.

Just filled my tank (224gals) 2 days ago for 2.99 a gal(red farm diesel as well)..... Would love to have paid 99 cents a gal, and even if I was tax exempt, it would only lower our price by about 60 or 70 cents.

Seems like the northeast has the slowest reductions in fuel prices. D2 is still @$2.89

Not a lot of stations sell off road fuel around here...

I'm almost ready to get my two drums refilled anyway. I pay about the same as on road at the pump for having off road delivered but it's worth every penny not to have to carry cans.

I just bought 5 gallons of diesel and 7 of gas. Regular gas was $1.999, but I bought nonethanol high test so paid a lot more. I didn't even look at the price of diesel, that doesn't really matter as the 'Bota is useless without it. I've considered a bulk tank in the past but only burn about 100 gallons per year so it isn't worth it.

Well, our county "co-op" (organized in 1947 for farmer buying power) is always higher than everyone and today is no exception.

Gasoline $2.39/gal Gas buddy has every station in the area under 2 bucks.....some down to 1.80

On road diesel 2.79

Off road 2.19

Paid $1.78/gal for offroad diesel last week in West Point VA.

Just remember that gas usage is down because of all the people not going to work or on a trip. However the trucks are out in full force. So the demand will slow the price of fuel for those of us further from the refineries.

Coop just filled my 300 gallon tank for me- 2.42/gal delivered for on-road diesel. Best price I have ever gotten for that...

Diesel hasnt dropped around here much $2.99 on road- off road is around .25-.30 cents cheaper.
Dont use much off road diesel like some of you ( around 100 gallons a year) but I do store some.
I have a 50 gallon square 2x2 tank with a fillrite 12v pump. I really like it! Easy to store and load into a truck. We go past 2 offroad
stations on our monthly "city" shopping so its no problem th bring the tank, Smile every time I fill the tractor or excavator not having to mess with small cans.
