If he was talking about the TC's compared to the 20 series then I would agree. But otherwise I didn't really see any drop in build quality for the utilty tractors and full ag tractors.

No, wasn't a TC. The surprising part was both tractors were the same model, I think they were 3930 machines. The older of the two was a 2wd Ford badged machine, with the later model being a 4wd New Holland badged post-Fiat purchase machine. The tractors looked pretty much identical, except for the stickers with the name on them, but he said there was a difference in the quality of the tractors. He owned both at the same time, as he kept the first 3930 when he bought the second. He felt so strongly about there being a difference that he tried to find a low hour older 3930 4wd to trade the then nearly new 3930 4wd for, but was unable to locate one in our area.

The materials used in all brands of tractors have changed over the years. The metal hoods and fenders on the old tractors are much thicker than the metal on the hoods and fenders of the newer machines. On the flipside, engineering has changed and there are a lot of things that have improved over the years.

It wasn't ME, although I was surely tempted, I figured what I had to say would get my post removed Which has happened in the past - and possibly banned , with all the B S " male cow manure" being thrown around it was not worth it

Heck, even quiet little ole me has had posts removed. Heck even one today... ah well that was because I accidentally posted a duplicate in a thread and asked Bird and Mike to fix it for me. Bird was even kind enough to fix some typos.

And yes, U can tell when the testosterone kicks in sometimes. It happens. I have been guilty of it too.

You would be surprised how many of us have had posts pulled. Sometimes we get caught up in the moment and go too far. I have done it and so have many others. For the most part, I would guess you have good company. Now if your posts are repeatedly being pulled, then maybe we need to talk intervention.

OTOH, thanks for fessing up. As someone commented in a PM I was concerned about getting a million pm's from people wanting to know who it was....
