I would hate to have to pay his tire bill and if I were in that, I would have a full face helmet on.

I can see it's got four wheel steering, but it appears to also be independent front and rear. Can that be? And how is it steered?

Some body protective gear think would be nice.

I'm not familiar with this. Is the point to build a big powered cage and then just ram it at full throttle through the woods and up the hills, in an attempt to knock them down?

Both these rigs are interesting.......wonder who they get their insurance through??:)

I enjoyed the video. The operator most definitely has a "Stubborn Streak". I wouldn't place much emphasis on Insurance needs, but I would be more worried if the machine flipped over and bent the protective cage tubing in a way that would prohibit the occupants from getting out. Just a thought.

I noticed that there were very few triangles in the cage design.

I agree. The articulation in that lizard is hard to imagine. Crawling through washouts like that is hard to believe!

All he needs now is a stock vehicle under warranty.
So he can bolt the axle back on.
And tow it into the dealership.

And explain that he has no idea why the wheels keep falling off, but he needs a new axle.

Come on. Surely this guy knows what he's doing, right? This is like his fourth iteration that he's built.

It was obviously strong enough, but it probably could have been considerably lighter.
