Nothing New Under The Sun

I just finished a book I bought at TSC "Ford Tractor Implements". It deals with the Ferguson/Ford Three Point Hitch revolution and the implements designed and sold in the 1930's and 1940's.

Almost all the modern implements we use today were invented then, disk and plows of course, but also subsoilers, middle busters, rear scoops, rear blades, front blades, loaders, landscape rakes, spike tooth harrows, spring harrows, cultipackers, platform haulers and many more.

Some implements were invented later and not in the book. Backhoes, rotary tillers, rotary cutters, finish mowers, power box rakes, etc. If anybody knows the history of these newer items it would make for an interesting post.

Nothing New Under The Sun?
But, your post says there are somethings new (finish mower, rotary tiller, cutter, etc) under the sun.

If you said "Nothing New Under The Moon", I'd certainly agree with you. (if you see what i mean.)
