not lifting enough!!!

Hey guys was just wondering if anyone knew where i could buy 2 new or used rams for my fel...don't really like the design that i've got on mine right and blew a second inside c clip last saturday.. have looked at the jd and kubota designs for keeping the gland and rod inside the ram and they are of much sturdier design than mine would also like to possibly step up to a 2 " vs. the 1.5" i have now...so am looking for an internet site that specializes in the sale of wholesale rams...even possibly used ones(have searched all over ebay already)...would like to find 2, 16" stroke 2" rams ... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Todd, not sure I'd call their prices exactly "wholesale" all the time but Surplus Center always seems an interesting place to start...

The Surplus Center is a good place to get cylinders. TSC also carries 2"x16" cylinders.

You might want to keep in mind that your FEL was designed to lift only so much. If you put bigger cylinders on it to increase the lifting power over what it was designed to handle, you may cause more problems than you solve. Just my opinion. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

have thought about that and my tractor guru down the road said the same thing /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif have had to fix the second ram last week and if they keep going (poor design) then they're going to b replaced at some point and thought i'd do some of the homework as to where tjo gitem beforehand....THANKS so much guys and where or what is tsc??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would try here. If nothing else they can make the cylinders you are wanting. They would probably have a better design cylinder in stock.
