Not a good start

Axle seal and collar which I had to replace on my Yanmar Decades ago. The collar itself is pressed on the axle shaft. I have a new Collar also but at the time I opted to leave it and not replace it with the new collar. Microscopic small pitting and Yes it still drips a very little and pretty much what yours looks like. Not worth the couple drips Of Hyd. fluid after use and parking it. Never had to add any hyd. fluid in 15yrs. it's so pitiful.

Very unfortunate. I have had no issues on my 2017 and have almost passed 800 hours now. My only complaint is the darn transmission filters are so darn expensive. My only major expense has been the right side door glass. It was shattered by a run away stone. Scared the sh_t out of me. Thought someone had shot at me when I was flail mowing a forage field in the fall. Turned out I had hit a vole nest that the local fox had excavated. Fox left a mound that was hidden in the grass. One of my flail mower flaps was stuck in the open position allowing said rock to get launched. The whole door glass was shattered into tiny bits no bigger than the end of a tooth brush. $1000.00 for a new door glass but I installed it myself and now run with a clear plastic tractor door guard when flailing just in case.

I run the rear window and the right hand side window guards. Flail is a FARC Master 1600 which has right side offset and vertical tilt for hedge rows so lots of potential for airborne objects if the flail flaps don't do their job properly.
