Normal Operating Temperature

What is the proper operating temperature in degrees for a Mitsubishi D2050FD? I recently put a numeric temp gauge in on the tractor but can not find in manual anywhere about the normal operating temp. Is it 200, 225, 230 or 240 degrees? Thanks, B Nic

I've got a D1850FD and during this years low 90s, the mechanical temp gauge pretty much stayed at 210 when I was bush hogging. I always make sure the radiator is clean before I start, and I'm running a 50/50 antifreeze mix

Thanks again Gunny. Headed down this weekend and going to give her a full tune up with filters, oil change, new filter assembly and going to flush the radiator with Napa radiator flush and add back with 50/50. Just curious, do you add any fuel additives to your tractor?

The only thing I add to my diesel is Super Tech TC-W3 2 cycle motor oil (200:1 ratio). I started doing that not long after the ULSD came on the market, to give a little more lubrication to the injector pump.

On the temps, what I should have said was that my tractor doesn't get over 210 degrees when bush hogging in hot weather. Don't know why I wrote that it stayed pretty much there. I did my fall cutting last week (weather in the high 80s) and it usually held at 205.
I really like this little tractor and since it's getting harder and harder to find replacement parts for it, I try to keep an eye on everything and not stress it out anymore than I have too.
