gcb backhoe 84
jcb, backhoe with turbo and 4x4, 84 year , after having it parked for about a year because the starter couldnt be removed, it startet instantly again, but in neutral it makes anoise, noise increases when moving forward, but sounds normal in reverse, noise goes up also when increasing revs. is it because of water or air in the hydraulic system? the hydraulic tank did not have a cap all this time and i suspect some water got in, how to empty the whole system if this is the case, can i use it like this, it has lost some of the power lifting

:welcome: to TBN!

The oil should be milky if there is water in it. Losing lifting power would suggest flow restriction, I would change the filters at a minimum. If the oil is milky its time to go. Do you know how many hours are on the oil? Most tractor manufacturers recommend you change hydraulic oil every 400 hours.
