Newbie seeking to learn more about which tractor to get. Had seriously considered buying new Kubota BX for 2 acre site. Took down 18 trees and now need to remove brush & stumps. Looking at something probably a little bigger than 23hp. probably used.

A Ratchet Rake bucket attachment is good for tearing out brush, then piling it.

Tractors are not good for stump removal. Eighteen stumps could be ground to grade by a contractor for $1,000. Or you can rent a mini-excavator or bulldozer for complete stump removal but you will have to repeatedly grade resulting large holes after.

Have you a disposal plan for the mountain of debris?

Upper 20's mid 30 horse power should do the trick even for New England winter.
