Hi everyone, new to this site just joined after bringing home my first real tractor yesterday. Its a 1970 Ford 3000 made in the good old USA (according to serial #). Purchased to help on the deer lease with food plots and clearing atv paths but I see a whole lot of potential after working in my driveway with a grader blade today. I am sure I will be asking lots of questions as I learn how to operate and service this machine. Any and all tips and tricks are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Congratulations. Prefix next to serial number indicates place of origin:A-Belgium,B-England,C-United States. Hope you enjoy your Seat Time with your good old tractor made in the US. Searching the forums will reveal valuable info. Another option: TractorData.com - information on all makes and models of tractors :tractor:

Thanks Creekbend! TractorData.com has been my friend for the last 3 weeks leading up to my purchase and the letter C is ahead of my serial numbers
