Kioti DK50SE cab
Hi folks.

I retired from my day job a couple of years ago. I'm a machinist/inventor from a university shop. I still do contract work for the university . I recently sold my excellent Kubota grey market tractor and just purchased a 5 year old Kioti DK50SE HST complete with backhoe with only a hundred hrs. on the clock. I was not looking forward to another winter with an open cab. The new one is a cab model with heat and ac. The tractor has a wider footprint so my implements will have to go unless I can modify them somehow. I have a 4 ft bushhog 5 ft box scraper, 5 ft blade scraper and a good 8 inch wood chipper. Lastly a 5 ft snowblower. All this is used to maintain my 90 acres of woods and trails. I'll have plenty to learn from the community.

Cheers,
Porsche driver from the great white north.

You will need to up-size all but the chipper.6ft.bush-hog,7-8ft.scraper blade,6ft.box blade, not too familiar with snow blowers but I would assume to up that also.I would think you would be able to sell the smaller stuff.
You would probably destroy the lighter duty 5ft.stuff with the larger tractor.
And Welcome from just across the "St.Lawrence".

This is the only pic I have. I sent the tractor to our local Kioti dealer for a checkup and have the fluids changed. I'm also adding studded chains because my steep long driveway (1/4 mile) gets icy. Winter yechhh!

Yeah soooooo much fun if you are a tourist. I've lived here my whole life and am still not used to the long winter, cold, and snow. Today it's about 32 degrees F. Warm for Dec. Jan and Feb could be -32.

Cheers.

I was working in Maine at the time, mostly outside through the winter,so I know about the cold long winters.
