Quick Hitches Newbie 3pt question

My old tractor (JD4020) got totaled by a drunk driver and I'm combing the used market for a replacement tractor/loader with 80hp minimum

Some of the local tractors I've seen have CAT3 hitched on back.

Are there ways to attach CAT0 or CAT1 attachments to a CAT3 hitch?

Example would be to use a broadcast spreader or similar homeowner items behind a big old tractor that has a 540 PTO?

Why? I'm not trying to make small implements do more. I just want a single tractor to handle both big and small chores. (serious question)

Double/triple bushings I guess, but that's kinda awkward. Plus, I'm not sure you can even close Cat 3 lower arms enough to attach a Cat 0 implement. That's ATV and garden tractor stuff. Even if one actually attaches, you'll still need a pretty good supply of shear bolts/lift pins/toplinks for those Cat 0/1 implements. My 45hp has a Cat 2 hitch, and I've bent up plenty of toplinks and lift pins on many Cat 1 implements that couldn't handle the extra power. Personally, I'd recommend folks shopping in the 40-100hp range limit their tractor selection to those with Cat 2 hitches.

You could go to a machine shop and have some bushings made for cat3- cat1 and another set for cat3-cat2. But if you're using cat1 equipment with a 80 or 90 hp tractor, I'm guessing if you're not careful you'll only need the bushings for a short while cause you'll tear up the equipment.
