Buying Advice New Yanmar owner

Hello all, I purchased a Yanmar 240D from a friend of mine. The tractor was in pretty rough shape when I got it. I have had it for a couple of months. I replaced the clutch last week, all went well. I will be looking to replace many other parts. I purchased my clutch parts from Hoye tractor parts. Prices were reasonable and shippped very quickly. If anyone knows of other good places to get parts and could let me know it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Tim

Hi Lloyd,
The tractor needs a bunch of small things like fuel tank and lines, radiator work, body and paint, and lots of clean up. The bigger projects include fabricating a new arm for the front loader and new hydraulic lines and controls. I have a welding/metal fab shop at home and just completed building a 4x8 CNC Plasma table that should make projects a little easier. The snow usually stays in the mountains. Have a good day.

I have the same tractor. With proper maintenance they're practically bullet proof. You'll be impressed with what that little beast can do.
