Yanmar 240D
Hello to all. I am a new member on this forum and I need some help.I am looking for rear rims that will work for my 240D. I have heard that some Kubota rims might work. does anyone have information about this? Yanmar part number is 194241-34650 if that helps. Thank You

Did you also check out the YTOG Resource Page for parts suppliers and salvage yards?

The SpareX catalog, not SpaceX, has these rims for the Kubota.

bmaverick, my YM240 has two-piece wheels and I assume YM240D is like this. The center (hat) and rim portions of the wheel are separate. This is one case where US version Yanmars differ from their Japan-market near twin. So far as I know only the turf tire option came on one piece rear wheels.

Prior owner of my YM240 put Kubota rims, with oversize tires, on the original Yanmar centers.

And Kubota/Yanmar hub bolt patterns at the axle aren't the same.

So what he's asking for is just the rims, from anything that will bolt up to his Yanmar centers.

My Yanota! :) That identical backhoe was sold as both Yanmar and Kubota OEM, only the paint is different.

Here's a photo from Ebay showing the original two piece rear wheels on a (US) YM240D.

So, is it possible for him to find JD750 4WD rims to bolt up then? I only found one thread for some time ago of a person doing this to a YM240D. Thus, it's a long shot.

I have not a clue if the bolt pattern is the same, nor even if the rim sizes for tires are the same, yet the 4WD of the JD750 should it work, would be doable as the lead/lag ratio is constant. Possibly all 4 rims and tires of the JD750 would need to swap over.

Maybe. Comparing those photos of the 4x4 Yanmar and Deere, they aren't the same rear wheels.

Seems to me what he needs is any rim that will bolt up to his centers, and that he can transfer his existing tires onto.

I bought four used wheel weights off a similar old Kubota and found they won't bolt to my Yanmar centers. The Yanmar centers are tapered preventing a matchup plus way different bolt hole locations.

The 63 ford Org. does have bolt on Rims and the Ym2000 Org. Wheels and huge lug Bridgestone tires are welded wheel rims one piece,
