Hi!! I am new to the forums and probally a little different than most of you all. I am a 15 year old boy and I love tractors. I have a love for equitment that I have been told you don't find in most people. Anything with a bucket on it I love. I own a Case Skidsteer 1845C that my dad has given to me and now I am buying my own tractor. It was just delivered. A Kubota B2910. It has a lot of uses for me. I plan on doing some work with it to pay for it. I just wanted to say hi and that I hope just because I am a teen that you won't treat me any different. Welcome to the forums! Age is not a factor here at TBN. You just gotta love tractors and 'quipment!

You own a skid steer and a tractor??? Wow!!! When I was 15 all I owned a bicycle and a learner's permit to drive a car! You sure seem mighty focused for a 15 year old!

I loved tractors when I was 15, too, but the best I got back then was working with my grandparent's. Still love 'em, just got a little older somehow (but I'm probably not any more mature /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif).

I understand how you feel - I first drove my granddaddy's Cub when I was 7 or 8. I've been hooked ever since (I'm 42 now...)

You sound entreprenuerial. A motivated 15-year-old could make some SERIOUS $, which I am constantly telling my 14&15-year-old girls.

I think you are a lot like the rest of us, only thing is you are just starting out. When I was 15 my dad had an old Farmall C. I realy liked that tractor. Also I used to do mowing with an old JD110 mower, and had an old Bready built Homelite garden tractor that I did yard work with. I had a lot of fun with those, but soon cars. and girls pushed tractors to the back burner, and did not get fired back up till I got my land 3 years ago.

Tractorteen, your not the only young one on this forum, I am too only 16 yrs old and love tractors and equipment I know more about this kind of stuff than he does, and I own a Ford 1220 with rear scoop , rear blade, and post hole digger, Use to own a Massey Ferguson model 150 38HP tractor but sold. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Gee; what a good life. At 15, I had a desire to get a car, no room for a tractor - commissioned to be the lawn mower operator at that time! Have fun with that equipment and have fun on the forum!

If our teens were all out driving tractors instead of cars, not only would they (and the roads) be safer but think of all the work we could get done! It is heartening to hear about you tractor-interested teens. Stay away from the gameboys, tv and the parties and get some seat time!

Welcome to the forum,
I would say with your likes/ambitions and desires in heavy equipment you have the potential someday to be a big time owner operator,have your own constuction business,heck you may someday be bidding on contracts to have your crew build 4 lane highways,who knows?

Welcome to the forum and I love your drive. Don't find that in too many kids anymore. And yes you can pay for your tractor by doing jobs. It will take some time and hard work but you can do it. I wish you success.

But I do have a question for you, what will you do with your name when you turn twenty, we do expect you to be around yet??
